🎨 The Mural That Started It All: A Tribute to Coraopolis by Zaxerl

Before the paint dried, before the buzz spread, and before our downtown began its colorful transformation—there was one mural that sparked it all.

Located on the side of Snappy’s Tap House at 415 Mill Street, this bold and beautiful piece by Zaxerl, a Pittsburgh native now living in Cincinnati (yes, still a proud Steelers fan 🖤💛), marked the beginning of a new chapter for Coraopolis. With the word “Coraopolis” stretching across the wall in vibrant, stylized letters, the mural captures the soul of our town through two iconic landmarks: the historic train station and the Coraopolis Bridge.

This wasn’t just a splash of color—it was a statement. A declaration that our town’s history, charm, and resilience deserved to be seen, celebrated, and shared. Zaxerl’s work became a beacon for what was possible when art meets community vision.
